I am a plant ecologist with a broad interest in population biology and vegetation ecology. My research is focused on genetic and ecological processes at large spatial scales. An understanding of these patterns is necessary e.g. to accurately predict the dynamics of species distribution ranges. In addition, in a recent post-doc in the Nelson Lab at the University of Montana, I focused my attention on restoration ecology. Specifically, I evaluated the effects of herbicide usage on native plant communities in the framework of invasive species management. See my publications here.
